Writer of the "Voice for Anxiety" series, Samantha Glynn, will be joining us at The Broadstairs Book Fair.
We caught up with Samantha and asked her about her books and inspiration.
I have just finished the final book of the series which shows that you can recover from severe anxiety with time, help, support and self-reflection.

The first book is hard hitting and looks at my time in Medway hospital. It describes my time working in schools and the science behind my breakdown. The second book looks at how I was coping halfway through recovery and gives advice from my experiences, hence ‘The Bread Crumb List’. I also explore what I have learned about writing in my books.

Samantha also dedicates time towards charitable causes, in 2024 she organised from scratch a public art exhibition for school children in Margate with the help of the Thanet Coast Project. Another success story was our walk around Kent for Parkinson’s UK, and the first part of my third book contains the walks we did.
I hope my books inspire those that are experiencing anxiety that it doesn’t always have to be the case and although times can be difficult and exhausting, support is out there. They will also help those wishing to understand more about anxiety, either for professional or personal reasons.
