The Gift of Giving

It's that time of year where parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles start to panic about what to buy for Christmas presents.

Yes the latest games console, or in toy are great but don't forget the simple presents like jigsaws, board games and books.

If it's books you are looking for, then pop on down to Havisham and Cratchit at Bleak House, and there you will find The Pop-Up Bookshop.

We have books by many local authors, covering all sorts of genres, everything from Picture Books for your younger readers, poetry and biographic works through to chapter books and more.

All our books are written by local authors, so by buying from us, not only are you supporting a local business but also local authors, all of them having spent many hours perfecting their craft.

Whilst you are there, why not check out the many other local crafts sold at Havisham and Cratchit, or stop off and enjoy a cup of coffee and cake.

Don't forget on the 6th and 7th of December they will also be hosting the big man himself as they hold their first ever Christmas fair.
