The Pop-Up Bookshop

Don't forget if you are looking for something to do with your little ones on Monday the 8th April, the Pop-Up Bookshop will be hosting some amazing local children's authors at The Royal Albion Hotel, Broadstairs.


09:30 We will have Sofia Haq reading her book. This talented young lady wrote her book "Jungle Trouble, Rory's Rescue Plan," aged just 8 years old.

10:00 John Condon, will be reading the first of his books "The Pirates are coming," This brilliant take on the boy who cried wolf, with a twist, will have you all shouting "The Piratessssssss are cominggggggg"

10:30 we have the wonderful Julie Leonard reading from "William the strongest caterpillar in the world" a tale about facing fears and helping each other.

William also has in very own song, which we may be lucky enough to hear.

11:00 John will be back with a book for all your young dinosaur fans with "The Wondrous Dinosaurium" if you could have any dinosaur as a pet, what would you have?

11:30 Peter Erlam's book, "Ravi The Brainy Raven" a tale full of adventure, bravery and set locally in Ramsgate (formally known as Ravens Gate)

12:00 Julie will be reading the second book in the William series, with "William the caterpillar, who was afraid of the dark" will William face his fears and find out what's hidden in dark. This book is perfect for helping children face this common childhood fear.

Then join us in the afternoon, for more readings. This time for older readers, with poetry, short stories and more.
