The Pop-Up Bookshop will be at this brand new event taking place in the gardens of Broadstairs most famous author Charles Dickens.
Bleak House (originally known as Fort House) built in 1801, and extended in 1901. During the 1850s 1860s Charles Dickens, holidayed at Fort House and wrote David Coperfield and is said to have penned Bleak House whilst there, hence the name change in the early 1900s.
During the Dickens festival, 14th 15th June, Havisham & Cratchit will be hosting some wonderful local companies, in Bleak House Gardens. Including Margate Flowers, Ramsgate Croquet Club, Northdown Brewery, Kebbells and many more including The Pop-Up Bookshop.
With fun and games for children, drinks and food, this brand new event is perfect for all the family.
Open 10:00-17:00 Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June.
